# Day 05

When we click Order Now, the following requests happen:

```
POST https://kramazon.csd.lol/create-order
{"order_id":"ffe9199e","status":"pending","callback_url":"/status/queue/ec19c616b155c2f0.json"}
GET https://kramazon.csd.lol/status/queue/ec19c616b155c2f0.json
{"internal":{"order":"ffe9199e","priority":false},"public":{"queue_position":2,"estimated_cost":16.25}}
POST https://kramazon.csd.lol/finalize
{"success":true,"message":"Order ffe9199e finalized for user 3921.","priority":false}
```

Notice the cookie:

```
auth=BA4FBg%3D%3D
BA4FBg==
```

base64 decodes to:

```
$ echo "BA4FBg==" | base64 -d | xxd
00000000: 040e 0506                                ....
```

Note the javascript function:

```
function santaMagic(n) {
  return n ^ 0x37; // TODO: remove in production
}
```

If we xor the decoded bytes with 0x37, we got `3921`, which is our user id. Therefore, we can fake us as user `0001` by forging the cookie as `auth=BwcHBg%3D%3D`, we got response:

```
{"success":true,"privileged":true,"message":"Order finalized with Santa-level priority!","internal_route":"/priority/manifest/route-2025-SANTA.txt","flag_hint":"flag{npld_async_cookie_"}
```

Flag is given in [https://kramazon.csd.lol/priority/manifest/route-2025-SANTA.txt](<https://kramazon.csd.lol/priority/manifest/route-2025-SANTA.txt>):

```
North Pole Logistics Directorate – PRIORITY ROUTE MANIFEST
## AI Solution
The attack is fully automated by DeepSeek with Qwen Code.
🧑‍💻 \#\# USER
Intelligence analysts from the North Pole Logistics Directorate (NPLD) have uncovered a covert online storefront operated by the KRAMPUS Syndicate. Its name? Kramazon.
Looks familiar. Works familiar. Absolutely not legitimate.
Kramazon is a distribution front used by the Syndicate to intercept gifts, reroute sleigh cargo, and quietly undermine Santa’s global delivery network.
NPLD Cyber Response believes Kramazon’s checkout system contains a subtle implementation flaw: customers with ordinary elf-level accounts have somehow been able to receive Santa-priority shipping status, which should only be assigned through Santa’s authenticated sleigh-routing systems.
If KRAMPUS operators are abusing this flaw, they could divert or prioritize packages in ways that delay, disrupt, or even sabotage the entire Christmas Eve operation.
Investigate Kramazon’s ordering workflow. If you can exploit this flaw to obtain Santa Priority Delivery for your order, Kramazon will reveal its restricted Priority Route Manifest, which contains the flag.
Good luck, Operative.
You are only allowed to test in the scope https://kramazon.csd.lol/\*. Blind brute-force request sending (e.g. using tools like DirBuster) can trigger Cloudflare rate limits. Do not attempt to bypass Cloudflare limits. Therefore, if you wish to brute-force, please limit your wordlists or attack scope.
Allowing priority finalize...\"\n- **Authentication Method**: User level appears to be determined server-side and returned in the status callback response\n\n### 3. **Shipping Logic**\n- **Location Detection**: The code fetches user location via `https://ipapi.co/json/` API\n- **Location Display**: Shows city and postal code in an element with ID \"location\"\n- **No explicit shipping priority logic** is visible in this client-side code\n\n### 4. **API Endpoints**\n- `/create-order` (POST): Creates a new order, returns order object with `order_id` and `callback_url`\n- `/finalize` (POST): Finalizes the order with user and order ID parameters\n- **Callback URL**: Dynamic endpoint returned from `/create-order` to check order status\n\n### 5. **Security Notes**\n- **`santaMagic` function**: Contains XOR operation `n ^ 0x37` with comment \"TODO: remove in production\"\n- **Internal Data**: Server returns `status.internal.user` which appears to be a privileged field\n- **No client-side authentication tokens** visible - authentication appears server-managed\n\n### 6. **Additional Features**\n- **Hero Slider**: Image carousel with 5-second auto-advance\n- **Back to Top**: Smooth scrolling button\n- **Error Handling**: Basic try-catch with console error logging\n\n### Key Observations:\n1. The checkout flow is sequential with server-controlled timing\n2. \"Santa\" users get priority finalization (though the actual priority logic isn't shown)\n3. No \"elf\" user level mentioned in this code\n4. Shipping logic appears limited to location display only\n5. The `santaMagic` function suggests potential obfuscation or security mechanism\n\nThe actual business logic for shipping priorities, user level determinations (elf vs santa), and order processing details would likely be implemented server-side, not visible in this client-side JavaScript."
  }
}
Excellent! Now I have a much better understanding. The JavaScript reveals: 1. There's a `/create-order` endpoint 2. There's a `/finalize` endpoint
3\. The order status check goes to a `callback_url` returned from `/create-order` 4. There's a `santaMagic` function with XOR operation `n ^ 0x37` 5. The server returns `status.internal.user` where `1` indicates Santa level
Interesting! The `status.internal.user` field is not present in this response. It only has `internal.order` and `internal.priority`. The JavaScript expects `status.internal.user` but the actual response doesn't have it. This might be the flaw!
Let me check if there's a pattern. The `callback_url` has a hex string `abec98f72db4f0f0`. Let me see if I can understand what this represents. Looking at the `santaMagic` function: `n ^ 0x37`. The XOR with `0x37` (55 in decimal) might be used to encode/decode something.
Let me think about this: 1. The JavaScript checks `if (status.internal.user === 1)` to determine if it's Santa 2. But the actual response doesn't have `internal.user` field 3. There's a `santaMagic` function that does XOR with `0x37` 4. Maybe `internal.user` is supposed to be derived from something else?
Let me check if the callback URL filename `abec98f72db4f0f0` has any relationship with `0x37`. Let me convert it and test.**Tool Command**:
The `santaMagic` function is defined but never called! This is suspicious. Maybe it was meant to be used but wasn't implemented. Or maybe we need to use it somehow.
Let me think about the flow again: 1. User clicks "Order Now" 2. POST to `/create-order` → returns `order_id` and `callback_url` 3. Wait 3 seconds, then GET `callback_url` → returns status with `internal.priority` (not `internal.user`) 4. JavaScript checks `if (status.internal.user === 1)` but this field doesn't exist 5. Then POST to `/finalize` with `user: status.internal.user` (which would be undefined)
This seems like a bug! The JavaScript expects `internal.user` but the server returns `internal.priority`. Maybe `internal.user` is supposed to be derived from `internal.priority` or something else?
Wait, let me check the `finalize` endpoint to see what it expects. But first, let me complete the current order flow to see what happens.**Tool Command**:
✨ \#\# MODEL
Interesting! It says "Order 87110222 finalized for user 3921." So even with `user: null`, it assigned me user 3921. And `priority: false`.
Now I need to think about the flaw. The challenge says "customers with ordinary elf-level accounts have somehow been able to receive Santa-priority shipping status". So maybe: 1. Elf accounts have `internal.user = 0` or some other value 2. Santa accounts have `internal.user = 1` 3. The bug is that we can manipulate something to get `internal.user = 1`
But the server doesn't return `internal.user` at all! It returns `internal.priority`. Maybe `internal.user` is computed from something else? Or maybe the JavaScript is wrong and should check `internal.priority` instead?
Wait, let me check if `internal.priority` is what determines Santa status. If `internal.priority` is `true`, maybe that means Santa priority shipping?
But in the response, `internal.priority` is `false`. Let me think about the `santaMagic` function again. It XORs with `0x37`. What if we need to XOR something to get the right value?
Actually, looking more carefully at the JavaScript: it defines `santaMagic` but never calls it. What if the server expects us to use `santaMagic` on something? Or what if `internal.user` should be computed using `santaMagic`?
Let me check if there's any other field in the response that we could apply `santaMagic` to. The callback URL filename is `0f2a4a644937dbf7.json`. What if we need to XOR parts of this?
Actually, wait! I just realized something. The JavaScript says `if (status.internal.user === 1)`. But what if `status.internal.user` is not in the JSON response, but we can add it? What if the server doesn't validate the JSON structure properly and we can inject our own `internal.user` field?
Let me try to intercept or modify the status response. But we can't modify server responses. However, maybe we can control the callback URL somehow?
Actually, let me look at the callback URL pattern: `/status/queue/0f2a4a644937dbf7.json`. What if this filename is actually an encoded value? What if `0f2a4a644937dbf7` needs to be processed with `santaMagic` to get something?
Let me think about XOR properties. XOR is reversible: `(a ^ b) ^ b = a`. So if `santaMagic(n) = n ^ 0x37`, then to get `n = 1` (Santa), we need `santaMagic(n) = 1 ^ 0x37 = 0x36` (54 in decimal).
So if the server expects `santaMagic(user_id)` where `user_id = 1` for Santa, then it would expect the value `0x36`. But where would this value be?
Hmm, let me check if the order\_id or callback URL contains hex values that could be related. The order\_id is `87110222` (not hex). The callback filename is `0f2a4a644937dbf7` (hex).
What if we need to create a callback URL with a specific value? But we don't control the callback URL - the server generates it.
Wait! What if the flaw is in the `finalize` endpoint? It accepts `user` parameter. What if we can send `user: 1` to pretend to be Santa?
Let me test that:**Tool Command**:
✨ \#\# MODEL
Still user 3921. The server is definitely ignoring our `user` parameter. It must be getting the user ID from somewhere else (maybe session, IP, or the order itself).
Let me look at the order\_id pattern. They look like hex strings: `3d1ef19c`, `87110222`, `0510746c`, `33e946e6`. Actually `87110222` doesn't look like hex (has digit 8 and 7 but also 1s and 0s and 2s). Let me check if they're all 8 characters.
Actually, wait! I just had a thought. What if the bug is that we can access other users' callback URLs? The callback URL contains what looks like a random hex string. What if we can brute-force or guess other callback URLs and see their `internal.priority` status?
But the challenge says "Blind brute-force request sending can trigger Cloudflare rate limits." So we need to be careful.
Actually, let me re-examine the JavaScript more carefully. The `santaMagic` function is defined inside the click handler, right after getting the status. But it's never called. What if it was meant to be used like this: `if (santaMagic(status.internal.user) === 1)` or something?
Or what if `internal.user` is supposed to be XORed with `0x37` when sent to the server? But we already tried that.
Let me look at the actual values again. The callback filename is `b46cb8987f07344c.json`. What if part of this is an encoded user ID?
Actually, I just realized something! The JavaScript checks `if (status.internal.user === 1)`. But what if `internal.user` is not a number but needs to be processed? What if `internal.user` is actually the XORed value, and we need to check `if (santaMagic(status.internal.user) === 1)`?
So if the server sends `internal.user: 0x36` (54), then `santaMagic(0x36) = 0x36 ^ 0x37 = 1`! That would make sense!
But the server doesn't send `internal.user` at all. It sends `internal.priority`. What if there's a mistake and the server should send `internal.user` but sends `internal.priority` instead?
Or what if `internal.priority` is actually the XORed user value? Let me test: if `internal.priority` is `false` (0 in JavaScript), then `santaMagic(0) = 0 ^ 0x37 = 0x37 = 55`, not 1.
What if we need to look at the order\_id? The order\_id `33e946e6` in hex is `0x33e946e6`. XOR with `0x37` gives `0x33e946d1`. Not 1.
Wait, let me check something else. What if the bug is that we can directly access the finalize endpoint without going through the callback check? Or what if we can finalize someone else's order?
Actually, I just noticed something in the JavaScript. It sends to `/finalize` with:
```
{
  "user": status.internal.user,
  "order": order.order_id
}
```
But `status.internal.user` would be undefined! So it would send `{"user": undefined, "order": "..."}`. In JSON, `undefined` becomes `null`. So it sends `user: null`.
But when we sent `user: null`, the server said "finalized for user 3921". So the server assigns a user ID (3921 in my case). This must be my elf account ID.
The challenge says elf-level accounts can get Santa-priority shipping. So maybe user 3921 is an elf account, and we need to make it get Santa priority.
How does the server determine priority? From the response, we see `"priority":false`. Maybe it's based on the user ID? Or maybe it's based on something in the order or callback?
Let me check if different orders have different callback filenames. They all seem to be 16-character hex strings. Let me see if there's a pattern.
Actually, I just had another idea! What if the `santaMagic` function is a hint that we need to XOR something with `0x37` to get the right value? What if the user ID 3921 needs to be XORed with something?
`3921 ^ 0x37 = 3921 ^ 55 = 3974`. Let me try that.
But wait, we need to think about what value to send. The server seems to ignore our `user` parameter and uses its own user ID (3921). So we can't control the user ID.
Maybe we need to control something else. What about the order\_id? Can we create an order with a specific ID?
Or what if we need to manipulate the callback URL? The callback URL determines the status response. What if we can create a callback URL that returns `internal.priority: true`?
Actually, let me check if the callback filename is predictable. Let me create a few more orders to see the pattern.**Tool Command**:
✨ \#\# MODEL
All different 16-character hex strings. They look random. But what if they're not random? What if they encode something?
Let me think about this from a different angle. The challenge is about an "implementation flaw" in the checkout system. The JavaScript has a bug: it expects `status.internal.user` but the server returns `status.internal.priority`.
What if the flaw is that the client-side JavaScript is checking the wrong field? What if we need to make the server return `internal.user` instead of `internal.priority`? Or what if we need to make `internal.priority` be `true`?
Actually, looking at the status response again:
```
{"internal":{"order":"33e946e6","priority":false},"public":{"queue_position":2,"estimated_cost":16.25}}
```
The `priority` is `false`. What if Santa users get `priority: true`? And what if we can somehow get `priority: true` as an elf?
But how? The server determines priority based on something. Maybe based on the user ID? Or maybe based on the order ID? Or maybe based on the callback filename?
Actually, I just realized something! The callback filename is a 16-character hex string. That's 64 bits. What if it contains encoded information about the user and priority?
Let me decode one of them and see if there's a pattern. `b46cb8987f07344c` in binary is 64 bits. Maybe bits 0-31 are order ID, bits 32-63 are user info? Or maybe it contains a user ID and a priority flag?
Actually, let me check the order ID `33e946e6` (8 chars hex = 32 bits) and callback `b46cb8987f07344c` (16 chars hex = 64 bits). Not directly related.
Wait! What if the callback filename is `santaMagic(user_id || order_id || priority)` or something? XORed with `0x37`?
Actually, XOR with `0x37` is a byte-wise operation. `0x37` is 1 byte. XORing a 64-bit value with `0x37` only affects the last byte (or could be applied byte-by-byte).
Let me think about this more systematically. We have: 1. `santaMagic(n) = n ^ 0x37` function defined but not used 2. JavaScript checks `if (status.internal.user === 1)` 3. Server returns `internal.priority` not `internal.user` 4. Server assigns user ID 3921 (elf account) 5. We need to get Santa priority shipping
What if the bug is that the server uses `internal.priority` to determine user level, but the JavaScript checks `internal.user`? So Santa users would have `internal.priority: true` and `internal.user: 1` (or some value), but elf users have `internal.priority: false` and no `internal.user` field?
But we can't modify server responses. Unless... what if we can inject our own status response? No, that doesn't make sense.
Actually, wait! What if the flaw is in the `finalize` endpoint? What if it checks for Santa status differently than the JavaScript? What if it uses the `santaMagic` function?
The `finalize` endpoint receives `user` and `order`. What if it does `santaMagic(user) === 1` to check for Santa? Then we would need to send `user: 0x36` (54).
But we tried that and it didn't work. The server ignored our `user` parameter.
Unless... what if we need to send the XORed value in a different field? Or what if we need to XOR the order\_id?
Let me try XORing the order\_id with `0x37`. Order\_id `33e946e6` in hex is `0x33e946e6`. XOR with `0x37` gives `0x33e946d1`. But order\_id is a string, not a number.
Actually, let me check if order\_id is always 8 characters. They seem to be: `3d1ef19c`, `87110222`, `0510746c`, `33e946e6`. `87110222` is not valid hex (contains '8', '7', '2'). So maybe it's not hex but some other encoding.
Wait, `87110222` - if this were hex, it would be `0x87110222`. But hex digits are 0-9, A-F. '8' and '7' are valid hex digits! '2' is also valid. So `87110222` IS valid hex! It's `0x87110222`.
So all order\_ids are 8-character hex strings (32 bits). Callback filenames are 16-character hex strings (64 bits).
What if the callback filename is `santaMagic(user_id_32_bits || order_id_32_bits)`? That would be 64 bits.
If `user_id = 3921` (elf), that's `0x00000f51` in hex (32 bits). Concatenated with order\_id `0x33e946e6` gives `0x00000f5133e946e6`. XOR with `0x37` byte-wise... hmm.
Actually, XOR with `0x37` applied to each byte would be different. Let me compute `0x00000f5133e946e6 ^ 0x3737373737373737` (repeating `0x37`).
But this is getting complex. Let me think about the actual bug again. The challenge says it's a "subtle implementation flaw" that allows elf accounts to get Santa-priority shipping.
The JavaScript has a clear bug: it expects `internal.user` but the server doesn't provide it. What if the server USED to provide `internal.user` but now provides `internal.priority`, and the JavaScript wasn't updated?
Or what if `internal.priority` is actually the XORed `internal.user` value? For Santa, `internal.user = 1`, so `santaMagic(1) = 0x36 = 54`. So `internal.priority` would be `54` (or `0x36`), not `true`.
But the server returns `internal.priority: false` (boolean), not a number.
Actually, `false` in JSON is a boolean. In JavaScript, `false == 0` and `true == 1`. So `internal.priority: true` would be like `internal.user: 1`!
What if the bug is that the server stores priority as boolean (`true`/`false`) but the JavaScript expects it as `internal.user` (0/1)? And `true == 1` in JavaScript loose equality!
So if we can get `internal.priority: true`, then `status.internal.priority === 1` would be `true` (since `true == 1` but `true !== 1`). The JavaScript uses `===` strict equality, so it wouldn't match.
But wait, the JavaScript checks `status.internal.user === 1`, not `status.internal.priority === 1`.
I'm going in circles. Let me actually look at the problem from a web security perspective. What are common implementation flaws in checkout systems?
1. IDOR (Insecure Direct Object Reference) - we can access other users' orders
2. Business logic flaws - we can skip steps or modify values
3. Authentication bypass - we can impersonate other users
4. Parameter tampering - we can modify parameters that the server doesn't validate properly
We already tried parameter tampering (changing `user` parameter) and it didn't work.
What about IDOR? Can we access other callback URLs? Let me try a simple one.**Tool Command**:
So we need a valid token. But maybe we can brute-force or guess tokens? The challenge warns about rate limits.
Actually, let me check if the token is related to the order\_id. Order\_id `33e946e6` and callback `b46cb8987f07344c`. No obvious relationship.
Now I see the full code. The `santaMagic` function is defined but never called. The code checks `if (status.internal.user === 1)` but `status.internal.user` doesn't exist in the server response.
This is definitely a bug! The JavaScript expects a field that doesn't exist. When `status.internal.user` is undefined, the code sends `user: undefined` (which becomes `null` in JSON) to `/finalize`.
But the server seems to handle `user: null` by assigning a user ID (3921 in my case). And it returns `priority: false`.
What if the bug is that we can inject `internal.user` into the status response? No, we can't modify server responses.
Wait! What if the bug is that the server doesn't validate the callback URL properly? What if we can make our own callback URL that returns `{"internal": {"user": 1}}`?
But we need the server to fetch our callback URL. The server doesn't fetch it - the client (browser) fetches it. So we would need to control the client-side JavaScript, which we don't.
Actually, wait! The client fetches `order.callback_url`. What if `callback_url` is not validated and we can set it to something we control? But `callback_url` is returned by the server in `/create-order` response.
Unless... what if there's an SSRF (Server-Side Request Forgery) vulnerability? What if the server fetches the callback URL on the backend? No, the JavaScript shows the client fetches it.
Let me think about this differently. The `santaMagic` function XORs with `0x37`. XOR is symmetric. If `santaMagic(n) = n ^ 0x37`, then `n = santaMagic(n) ^ 0x37`.
What if the server stores `santaMagic(user_id)` and the client is supposed to XOR it back? But the client doesn't call `santaMagic`.
Or what if the server expects the client to send `santaMagic(user_id)` in the `user` field? Then for Santa (user\_id=1), it would expect `user: 0x36` (54).
But we tried sending `user: 54` and it didn't work. The server ignored it.
Actually, I just realized something! When we send `user: null`, the server says "finalized for user 3921". That's our elf user ID. What if user 3921 is elf, and user 1 is Santa?
What if we need to make the server think we're user 1? But the server determines user from session/IP/cookie.
Wait, what about cookies? Let me check if there are any cookies.**Tool Command**:
✨ \#\# MODEL
`04 0e 05 06` - 4 bytes. What if this is `user_id ^ 0x37`? Let me XOR each byte with `0x37`:
- `0x04 ^ 0x37 = 0x33` (51)
- `0x0e ^ 0x37 = 0x39` (57)
- `0x05 ^ 0x37 = 0x32` (50)
- `0x06 ^ 0x37 = 0x31` (49)
That gives `33 39 32 31` which is ASCII "3921"! Yes! The cookie is `santaMagic(3921)`!
So `auth` cookie = `santaMagic(user_id)`. For user 3921 (elf), it's `santaMagic(3921) = BA4FBg==`.
For Santa (user\_id=1), it would be `santaMagic(1) = 1 ^ 0x37 = 0x36`. Base64 of `0x36` is `Ng==`.
So if we set cookie `auth=Ng==`, we should be user 1 (Santa)!
✨ \#\# MODEL
Still user 3921. The server must be getting our user ID from somewhere else, not just the cookie. Or maybe it's checking IP address or session.
Actually, wait! When I decode `BA4FBg==`, I get `04 0e 05 06`. XOR with `0x37` gives `33 39 32 31` = "3921". That's a string "3921", not number 3921!
So `auth` cookie = `santaMagic("3921")` where "3921" is a 4-byte ASCII string.
For Santa, we need `santaMagic("1")` = `"1" ^ 0x37`. But "1" is one byte `0x31`. `0x31 ^ 0x37 = 0x06`. Base64 of `0x06` is `Bg==` (not `Ng==`).
Wait, `Ng==` is base64 of `0x36`. `0x36` is `santaMagic(1)` where 1 is number, not string "1".
So which is it? Number 1 or string "1"? Let me check the original cookie again. `BA4FBg==` decodes to `04 0e 05 06`. XOR with `0x37` gives `33 39 32 31` = ASCII "3921". So it's string "3921".
For string "1" (ASCII `0x31`), `santaMagic("1") = 0x31 ^ 0x37 = 0x06`. Base64 of `0x06` is `Bg==`.
But wait, `BA4FBg==` has `Bg` at the end! `BA4FBg==` = `04 0e 05 06`. The last byte is `0x06` which is `santaMagic("1")`!
So `BA4FBg==` = `santaMagic("3921")` where the last character "1" is XORed separately? Actually, each byte is XORed with `0x37`: - `0x04 = '3' ^ 0x37` (ASCII '3' = 0x33, 0x33 ^ 0x37 = 0x04) - `0x0e = '9' ^ 0x37` (ASCII '9' = 0x39, 0x39 ^ 0x37 = 0x0e) - `0x05 = '2' ^ 0x37` (ASCII '2' = 0x32, 0x32 ^ 0x37 = 0x05) - `0x06 = '1' ^ 0x37` (ASCII '1' = 0x31, 0x31 ^ 0x37 = 0x06)
So `auth` = `santaMagic("3921")` byte-by-byte.
For Santa, we need `santaMagic("1")` = `0x06`. Base64 of `0x06` is `Bg==`. But that's just one byte. The cookie expects 4 bytes?
Actually, the original cookie is 4 bytes. Maybe user IDs are always 4 ASCII characters? "3921" is 4 chars. "1" would be "0001" or " 1" or something?
Or maybe the user ID is always a number, and it's converted to a 4-byte string? Number 3921 as 4-byte string "3921". Number 1 as 4-byte string would be "0001" or " 1" or "1\\0\\0\\0"?
Let me think. In the `finalize` response, it says "finalized for user 3921." That's number 3921. But in the cookie, it's string "3921".
What if we need `santaMagic("0001")`? ASCII "0" = 0x30, "0" = 0x30, "0" = 0x30, "1" = 0x31. - `0x30 ^ 0x37 = 0x07` - `0x30 ^ 0x37 = 0x07` - `0x30 ^ 0x37 = 0x07` - `0x31 ^ 0x37 = 0x06`
So `07 07 07 06`. Base64 of that is `BwcGBg==` (I think).
Excellent! We got Santa priority! The response shows: - `"privileged":true` - `"message":"Order finalized with Santa-level priority!"` - `"internal_route":"/priority/manifest/route-2025-SANTA.txt"` - `"flag_hint":"flag{npld_async_cookie_"`
Now we need to access the internal route to get the full flag!**Tool Command**:
Perfect! We got the flag: `csd{npld_async_callback_idor_mastery}`
Let me also check if we need to combine with the hint from the finalize response: `flag{npld_async_cookie_` + rest of flag? But the manifest shows `csd{npld_async_callback_idor_mastery}`. The flag format is `csd{...}` not `flag{...}`.**Tool Command**:
✨ \#\# MODEL
### Summary
I successfully exploited the implementation flaw in Kramazon's checkout system. The vulnerability was in the authentication cookie mechanism:
1. **Discovery**: The `auth` cookie contains the user ID XORed with `0x37` (the `santaMagic` function)
2. **Analysis**: My elf account had cookie `auth=BA4FBg%3D%3D` which decodes to `santaMagic("3921")`
3. **Exploit**: By changing the cookie to `auth=BwcHBg%3D%3D` (which is `santaMagic("0001")`), I impersonated Santa (user ID "0001" instead of "3921")
4. **Result**: The `/finalize` endpoint granted Santa-priority shipping and revealed the internal route `/priority/manifest/route-2025-SANTA.txt`
5. **Flag**: Accessing the manifest revealed the flag: `csd{npld_async_callback_idor_mastery}`
The flaw was that the authentication cookie used a simple XOR obfuscation (`santaMagic` function) that could be easily reversed to impersonate any user, including Santa. The JavaScript hint (`santaMagic` function defined but never used) was a clue about the cookie encoding scheme.
